"They Say"

I loved the introduction and just like most of the other students reading this I  got sucked in. I agree with  Mr. Rushkoff point of view in alot of ways but mostly the fourth paragraph about the "sales associate". Working as a sales associate personally was exactly how Douglas worded it. I had a different sales goal for each day that I worked and a card that you must have atleast one person a week sign up. In my opinion no one can make someone do somthing they didn't want to do but my boss thought otherwise. I currently do not work at this place anymore because it got to the point were they threaten to cut or reduce your hours if you didn't make the goal for each day. Truthfully it's not right that they can do this but if you personally said somthing to them that it isent right or that they cant do this "they" will just find somthing else to cut your hours down or even possible fire you.
